I just bought my new to me boat last week and the carpet needs to be replaced on the trailer boards. Does anyone know if I should be using a certain type of carpet made for this or does it even matter?
Thanks Scott

Congrats! What kind of boat? Most guys are using a 20oz marine grade carpet. Search and you will find some good info. I got mine a while back from this place and it was great:
