need help with gel coat on my boat is faded,will not buff out. How hard would it be to re gel coat it?

First off, welcome to the boards. Sounds like you just need to do a little wet sanding

Meguiars has a oxidation remover kit that works great. I just buffed my boat a few months ago with a wool pad. Had to do it a few times but the meguiars worked great.

I used two and a half bottles of the oxidation remover but my paint was as rough as sandpaper.
