Seats for 1999 Ranger R83 from BoatSeatStore

Anyone know how the bench seats in a Ranger R83 are installed? If I purchase the seats from the BoatSeatStore can I just take the old ones out and install new ones, or will I have to make some kind of platform in order to bolt the seats too?

I replaced my R71 seats with boat seat store seats. It is not hard. You have to remove the seat and build a wood platform or use your original seat frame and remove all material and foam and carpet. Them all you have to do is screw the seats down on the hinges they provide. Here is how I did mine

I have a friend that has a charcoal and marble set for sale they have very little use as he switched color boat seat store seats and need to move the other seats. Contact Joe Pa here on BBC and tell him racefan sent you.

the seats have 2 screws in the front outside edge and then on the back there is a L bracket the seats back hooks into. push back and up real hard the first time out is a killer

I just got these seats today and they came with the hinges/screws but I was wondering if someone could post a picture of where you screwed the hinge int the bottom of the seat at exactly?
