Can anyone tell me how to repair scratches? They are not that deep, they are from rubbing up against submerged timber. I have heard a few things about wetsanding, but I have no experience with it. Thanks in advance!!

If the scratches are more like rub marks and are not deep into the gelcoat you can try buffing them out first with rubbing compound.
If they are too deep for the rubbing compound to take out, you can wetsand on the scratches with 800-1000 grit paper, then use the rubbing compound.
The post pinned at the top of the page will give you an idea of how to go about it.
