2003 Skeeter Transformation

I bought my SX200 Skeeter new in 2003. I fished hard for the 2003 season, but afterward I took a new hobby, drag racing. Unfortunately for the Skeeter the drag car got the covered storage and the Skeeter suffered the South Georgia sun. Earlier this year, I decided it was time to clean it up. The seats were atrocious, so I pulled them and had them recovered.

Next, I got out the sandpaper, wet sanded and used McGuire's 3 Step Oxydation removal system. After 3 days of elbow grease it was shining again. Then I decided to have a company (Whatagraphics) in Moultrie wrap my windshields in Blue Carbon Fiber. After seeing how good the windshields look, I had my Skeeter decals and numbers re done in blue carbon fiber (never liked the red Skeeter). He really did a good job and worked with me on the design (he has a website and is on facebook if your near Georgia and need some done) He wanted to wrap my whole boat, but I really didn't want a full wrap. Below are some before and after pics.

Nice restoration, but wouldn't it have been easier to just buy a cover in the first place?

Nice job on the restore. Question on the stickers, Are those the "Puffy" ones or are they flat? My 96 model has the skeeter sticker that is "Puffy" and they r coming off. Need to replace them to make it look a lil better.
