It's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission.
Looks really good, how long did it take to do?
Started with a complete trailer at 11:30 am and by the time trailer was stripped of lights, diamond plate, lights, etc., then scuffed down, wiped down, and herculiner applied (2 coats worth) i left the shop at 5:30 pm. Two of us working on it, so about a 6-7 hour project.
It was nice to work on the boat with a foot of snow outside.

Did you take the boat off the trailer to get this done? How did you do that, and were did you put the boat!?

Love the look of the trailerI am interested in doing the same to mine.
we did take the boat off the trailer, we put a strap around a metal truss near the cieling and hooked into the bow eye, we had the trailer jack all the way up, when the hokks were in the bow eye I jacked the jack down and it held the front up suspended in the air.
we then took a hydralic jack and a 4 x 4 and jacked up under the jack plate till the boat was off the trailer, took two jack stands and put under the 4x4 and took the pressure off the jack.
We then put used tires under the rear corners and a couple mid ways just in case. I was sweating bullets but all went well.
Taking it off the trailer makes it easier but i can be done with it on. I wanted to replace my bunks as well so it had to come off.
