What needs to be done to install bass boat seats in Ranger 390? I am not near the boat, but am trying to plan what needs to be done. What do I have to build? Does anyone have plans, pictures? Do I need to get carpeting?
Thanks

just build a wood platform from 1/2" plywood and fiberglass it real good and cloth all seams and step area for better support of weight comming from a higher area to a lower area. The carpet it and finish bolting in boat then mount seats.
make sure you clear the fuel tanks with any thing hitting them
My 390 is an 88 with a bench seat.
What is the trick to getting the bench seat out?
Where did you buy the carpeting needed?
Thanks guys, this the kind of info I was looking?
To get teh bench seat out you have to pry the back of the seats open. They flip up and expose the screws that hold the seat one......Should be 4 ( 2 per side). Once the screws are out you pull up and push forward to disengage the seat. That's how mine worked...yours should be the same.
Carpet from BassCat. Unless you want it to look original then give Ranger a call and see if they have a color that is close. Be suire to have your Hull ID ready.
