And what boat do you need this 8ft wide carpet for???

If you are talking about recarpeting the flooring and the interior wall, you definitely dont need 8ft carpet... you just need to order little extra more then fit the carpet on the wall, then do the fitting on the floor... Providing you take your time with the installation, it can look virtually seamless and probably nicer since there wouldnt be any chance of curving at the corner, if you know what I mean???

Other way would be to order enough and split it down in half... 6ft one half 6ft for other half... so the seam would be running down the middle of the boat... and get it to fit to size... then you'd have to cut off 2 feet from each half...

I dont know where you can find 8' wide carpeting but if you do, please let us know...

    Good luck!!!

A lot of pontoon boats use 8' carpet. Good people also.

You would need 8ft wide carpet if your doing rod boxes, some boats have long boxes and if your doing a pontoon boat, or ski boat, most ski boats are just slightly over 6 ft in the 19-24 ft lengths , and who the heck would want a seam running down the middle of the boat ?

    8ft and 8ft 6" is common size .. actually

I live just 30 mins from The Carpet Capitol .. Dalton, GA I buy my carpet from the same place boatcarpetbuys.com and bassboatcarpets.com , they have the manufacturer drop ship it for them ..
Carpet is Cheap , I can get it for less .. less than they sell it for .. but the shipping is the kicker.
