Check the plugs, If I ever let mine go too far without checking them and the gap gets too wide, the same thing happens and I know it's plug time.

Mine was doing the same thing mentioned, changed the plugs, now it runs great![]()
i changed the plugs and fuel filter but no good the old plugs were really burned up and there was a carbon build up around the plug wires is that normal?

May be time for Danrudes idea, decarb?? when last? Checked the exhaust sensor?
im not sure how to decarb and dont know were the sensor is located im new to working on boat motors but i learn quick thanks for the help
