Re: Question regarding carpet install (Nelly)

Just finished mine Saturday. I have a 209 gambler and I ordered a 8ft by 25ft roll that will leave me with plenty to do the fender wells and the piece on the front of trailer. This is something I knew to do but forgot when I got in a hurry, make sure to cut the carpet in the same direction that you rolled out or some of it will look like a different color. The carpet must lay in the same direction, hope this makes sense.I bought mine from Capri carpet in Dalton Georgia. I also looked at a sample of the bass cat carpet and decided to go with a 24oz carpet after seeing Capri's sample. Not even close.

Re: Question regarding carpet install (Nelly)

Yes they have a web site, $256.00 with shipping. The backing was a lot better than bass cat also. They will send you a sample pretty fast if you want one. I dealt with Judy Chattam. website-capricarpet.com email -sales@capricarpet.com The only problem is the 24 oz is 8ft wide and the shipping is higher due to freight charges. I was going to have it shipped to my house but found out it was a lot cheaper to ship it to my work place where we have a loading dock. If you work somewhere that has one or a friend that works somewhere like that, shipping becomes more pleasant. They were pretty fast on the shipping too. Judy can tell you the best way to have it shipped, and let her know you are with the BBC, it won't save you any money but I am trying to get her to become a sponsor here. Oh, you don't need a loading dock to unload it , just the way the shipper charges, I think I saved 40 to 50 dollars on the shipping by doing this.
