I've got a 2001 Blazer 180 Pro. It's metallic grey with blue stripes. I've got a recurring haze even after several applications of polishing compound, it comes back after one day of fishing in the sun. Does anyone know if wet sanding and then polishing will cure my girls gleam or do I need something more professional????????????

Are you sealing it up with any protect-ant?
I've tried Zymol wax and Nu- Finish wax after the polishing compound and both failed miserably.
If your finish isn't retaining the shine,my quess is the polishes and waxes are "drying out".Most polishes and compounds have moisturizers to make it shine.Spit on your finger and whip it on your boat and it looks" great",then "not"! A simple test area;wax or polish,then whip with acetone(rubbing alcohol,almost any lite solvent),If it goes dull(hazy) then you haven't accomplished anything long term.Many posts in this forum on how to acheive some success.
