    water pump leaking?

I just put a water pump in my 150 gt. I made sure to line up the water tube and checked it twice. I can't find any cracks in the housing, but when its on muffs it has water spraying out everyhole in the lower unit and not much pressure out the pee-hole. What am I missing?

That is normal for water to spray out of the seam as there are no seals on the housing. If you have installed all the components in the kit properly you should be fine.

I was told by my mechanic that it is normal. He stated that the housings are designed to fill with water to help muffle the engine sound and I suppose maybe help in cooling somewhat.
