want boat waxed, buffed, shined all the above

Guys I live in Northern Kentucky and I'm trying to get my boat buffed and polished I have some small scratches and you know normal wear the thing is the bottom of my boat(black) has lots of scratches. What is a reasonable price to have some one do this and if you could reccommend someone close that would be great. Steve.

I think most of the people that frequent this section are the type that DIY. You could too, and put that $$$ toward the latest gizmo or gadget.

If you take it to a shop, get a good understanding with them of your expectations.Walk around your boat ,point out the areas of most to least concerns. If they are willing to spend a little time explainning the problems or possibilities, your be happier what ever you spend. We refer to these repairs as "details" and charge 450.00/day(not sure what shop rates are in your area).The"1-day" detail usually covers: sanding lite scratches(scuffs),lite fill on small repairs(chips, deeper scratches-not more than a few and hand filled),then compound/seal top and sides.I would guess by your discription, probably 2 days on bottom alone. To save money, there are plenty of posts on sanding/polishing and have the shop repair only the areas you may not want to attempt. Good Luck!

Did you ever check on a price? I have the same situation, oxidation, and would like to hire someone to buff and/or wetsand this out. I never seem to have the time....Does anyone know a fair price to have a boat buffed? Who would do this?, a detail shop??

Might just contact an auto detailer. They have most/all of the stuff needed to do the job. You might want specific products used, and if so, just provide them. Other than that, i did most of my stuff myself.
