    Finished working on the 461!!

Hi Guys, Have been busy sanding, polishing and working on my 97 461. It had some sun fade on the top of the cap and many many scratch marks from encounters with trees! Well after over a week of work and thanks to GREAT directions from BASSCAT 7 I am finished and the old gal is standing tall! Ordered new stickers from Ranger and I think it turned out great! Thanks for all the feed back and help while tackling this project! Greg [IMG][/IMG]

PS I took before and after pictures and would like to post them but don't know how. Thanks again. Greg

You have to have the images hosted somewhere.

    I like photobucket. http://www.photobucket.com.
Sign up for a free account, then when you upload the pictures it will have links right under it you can copy and paste into your post. You want the links with the img in brackets.

That looks great! The wet sanding and buffing makes it all worth while!

That looks great! I'm not sure you've got enough truck to pull it though !
Hopefully, I can get mine looking like that someday.

Re: Finished working on the 461!! (2sonmike)

Hey, now on the truck comment! I was a Chevy man for many years! I switched a few years ago. The Ford engine has a ton of power but the fit and finish is not as good as my Chevy's. My dad almost kicked me out of the family for buying a Ford as he is a DIE HARD Chevy man! Thanks for the positive comments about my boat! It is not the fastest boat on the water but it is a GREAT fishing boat and I love it. But would not mind a new Z19 or Z20 some day! Greg
