My trusty ol 275V Ranger has a couple of loose screw holes for the railing along the top edge of the boat. Any one have a good fix? I have tried shoving small pieces of wood bathed in epoxy into the holes, but it didnt last to long.

Sheet rock plastic anchors, the ones you'd hang a picture with. They expand in the hole when you put the screw in them.
Fill the hole with MarineTex. If necessary, get a large syringe to put the Marine Tex further back inside the hole. The small repair kit of Marine Tex comes with a liquid hardner and mixes up with a soft enough consistency to put through a syringe if you do it fast after initial mixing and use a large enough syringe.
The plastic anchor deal always seems to work well for me.Just find the proper size anchor for the size screw that you are using. I have seen 3 basic sizes. 3/16" , 1/4" , and 5/16" plastic anchors.
