I lost the shift shaft pin off of my 79 evinrude 150 when I was changing the water pump. ( The one that is under the carbs). Can I use a 1/4 " bolt or whatever size it is until the pin that I ordered comes in? I want to fish a tournament tommorrow . Will it hurt anything or will it even work? Does anybody know what size bolt and what length I would need? Thanks in advance
