NEED HELP REPAIRING GEL COAT CRACKS

I have a 1997 procraft 180 . It has a couple of 2 to 3 inch gel coat cracks on the top of the boat where the passenger console meets the top of the boat. I know they all get them but these are pretty noticable. I would like to know the correct way to repair these cracks. Thanks

I think you will be wasting your time. Fiberglass boats are designed to flex. Unfortunately, gelcoat is not. That is why gelcoat is so durable. There may be ways to try and fix them, but it will be time consuming or expensive and there is a good chance they will just re-appear in time or show up somewhere else.

That spot might be a good location for a sticker or something .

Good chance of them re appearing....BUT if you have to fix them get a dremel and route them out all the way to the glass ..make sure you get all of them out....when you get at the end or a little past route a circle at the end of them....
use dike em or something that will show them all...then you can fill sand and spray..
