I have a 88' 364v thats in very good shape, but I have some scratches and light to
moderate oxidation. I've tried 3m's wax for light oxidation, but I didn't get the results I expected.
Any ideas, advise?

Wet sand it and buff it,it will shine right up..
What type of paper/ grit should I use?
Should I follow with 3M Finesse It, then a Marine wax like Megulars Flagship?
They sat oxiclean will do the same thing. I havent tried it but ive heard it works.
Go with 1500 or 2000 grit wet sand paper depending on how much of the surface you need to cut down. If it's smooth but chalky/faded, go with the 2000. When sanding, keep the paper wet and go back and forth in ONE direction. Then use a high speed buffer or very soft pad attached to a very fast drill and a good ultra fine cut finishing compound. Dont do it by hand and an orbital buffer is absolutely useless for this purpose. You need speed to produce the heat and result necessary to perfect the finish. Then use a good wax or polish and go fishing.![]()
