finding warning horn

Warning horn no longer works and I'm trying to find out where the darn thing is hiding in my rig. Started with the ignition and after looking under the shroud the only hole through the fiberglass is the hole the ignition switch comes through. The remote is aft of the ignition and is a concealed side mount. Looking under the console at the maze of wires I found the purple/tan wires and two pin connector(though the tan has a blue line running it's length?). This is attached to a small red plastic cylinder less than an inch long. It has black and red wires leading into it, the opposite end has a hole and, internally, what looks like a thin piece of metal dividing it. I have a 1999 Stratos with the original two inch system check guage. Is it possible that what I found is the warning horn or do I need to look some more? Looking at schematics I find nothing that looks similar to what I found. Thanks!

Warning horn on the Stratos is the red cylinder about 2" long.

Had mine go out on my 2000 Stratos. Like championman said it is a 2" red cylinder that was tucked up under the dash amidst all of the wiring. Easiest way to find and fix. Call CandO and tell them what boat you have and get a new one. Not expensive and when it gets there you will know exactly what you are looking for.
