Help setting up a 2012 Sabre 150 proXS

24P Tempest plus. Loaded full tournament load two people 260+ each. And full live wells= 64 mph on gps 15-20 WP, steers hard and feels like its plowing the water. Okay hole shot
Light load just me and empty live wells= 67.7 mph and lots of walking. 15-20 WP, Hard to steer and feels stiff. Awesome hole shot.
It came from the dealer with 4" below the pad. I'm going to adjust to 3.5 and give it a shot. Any thoughts or advise?

That will help if you have a jack plate.

It has a slide master JP. I set it at 3.25" below. Great hole shot (about 3 seconds), water pressure 13-15 WOT, little to no chine walk and she kissed 69 mph. I think that will do, for now.

You have the right prop and height. The Sabre is extremely sensitive to load distribution and balance. Too much up front and the bow won't fly right. Carry only light items in front of the consoles. I doubt that I have over 30#'s up front in total weight. My tackle is in the box behind the passenger seat. The box behind my seat is empty for my co's stuff. I use the front box as a day box w/ a few bags of soft plastics and the hard baits I'll use that day. I keep my net & rain suit up front. Most of my soft plastics are in a large shimano bag that sits in the floor between the seats.

When the balance is right - it easily carries the bow and takes very little trim at all to run. When you're overtrimming you have steering torque. Running right - it will feel like a go-cart you can steer with the palm of one hand. Congrats on the new Sabre! It's a great package!
