the part # didnt pull up. i will try to call them tomorrow. in english what how does it work and do you still plug holes ?
When you talk to Don at European he will explain how to install them. You can pull them up on Mercury's web site in a round about way, I gave you the part # off of mine that I purchased from Don.

Part # 17280A2 is for high speed inlet covers but I think these are for over heating not blocking holes.
There is info on the 3 liter page about plugging the holes. Its at the top of the page.
