Last year I took out insurance with Bob. Recently I broke the majority of my skeg off of my 250 Pro XS. I called Bob and told him I was concerned that the insurance would try to have it welded rather than replacing the gearcase. Bob told me it would be no problem and had his people take the information down. The insurance adjuster called me within an hour and approved all repairs. I received a check from the insurance in less than a week.
In short the service I received was outstanding and Bob does not forget about you once you've paid your premium. He flat out takes care of you and makes claims as seamless as possible.
Just thought I'd let folks know in case they were on the fence.
