lightning vs magnum gear case

I need to know what the difference between them is, my lightning blew up and insurance is giving me crap i need to know what will happen if a magnum case is put on, because a reman lightining is not available i have heard that a magnum will not handle speeds over 75 if that is the case it wont work on my triton 200xp with a 225 ho on it is a solid 78mph and im tuning on it right now

when I switched I was told I would lose 4 to 6 mph from the lighting to the magnum and 2 or 3 to the regular lower, so i went with the regular lower from sei for $795 new ,with a 3 year no fault warranty.
