    motor losing fire

    I have a 1996 evinrude 150. The motor idles great but when I lay into it and get on plane I will die, or sometimes it just misses real bad then straighten out. I am kinda lost on this one because it doesn't happen all the time, but it is getting more frequent. Does anyone have any ides what it could be.

    When the problem occurs push in on your key to activate the choke. If the motor corrects itself you have a fuel issue. If not you have an electrical issue.
