Bassin at Deepcreek can be great & it can be tough but I guess that's everywhere
There's a few more Pa. guys I think they are hibernating![]()

I only fished deep creek once last year. And we done alright for numbers but we didn't get anything big. However i will say that the walleye fishing must be awesome as week caught quite a few while flipping the weeds for bass.
As far as hibernation. I need a better reason to come out other that n to plow snow lol. If i can find someone to go i might go to anna this weekend to find some soft water.
God grant that i may fish until my dying day and when it comes to my last cast i then most humbly pray that when in the lord safe landing net i\'m peacefully asleep that i be judged as one good enough to keep.
Thinking it may be May before the ice thaws out on the yough this year lol

I'm from SE PA right on the Delaware River, been a tough winter w/ ice and snow here too. First winter in a while I haven't been able to fish much![]()
How's the yough for smallies? I don't make it out that way much at all but my wife has family out there.
I will start posting fishing conditions on the Conodoguinet Creek (Carlisle section) in another 3-4 weeks. At least re: crappie. They were hitting pretty good on sunny days before the snows. No Bass yet though...

Cabin Fever is kickin in tho and will have to head south to do some bassin cuz I sure ain't gonna sit around a hole in the ice.

I am an hour and fifteen minutes from Yough. Fish it pretty heavily in the Spring and Fall...not so much in the summer because too many other tournaments going on.
That place is chalk full of quality smallmouth that's for sure! I love it there!![]()
Also fish the Rivers in the summer for a couple tournaments. Love them too, although it can be tough. But I have a couples spots that always produce nice river fish. You can always catch a lot of fish there...just not always good in size!
Just waiting for Raystown to thaw completely. This rain ought to do it.

Got up once last year and it poured down rain all day.
Did manage to pull in a few small ones though.
Hope to get down a few more times this year.
Raytown:
Got down Saturday. Water is muddy from the 3 mile post clear up the river. Water temp was low fifties until you hit 3 mile marker, then it drops to 39-40. Tried getting some big smallies for upcoming tourney in the clear water, but didnt have much luck. Caught one largie 3lb 8oz in the clear water though. Talked to 4 other boats, most anyone had were 2 that would keep.
