I have had very little luck catching much of anything up there this whole year. Other people I have talked to are having similar results. Good luck!
I just got back from there today. I had never been there before, and was expecting to catch some good fish in a lake that was touted as a great fishery. Boy, was I disappointed. I only caught 7 bass in 3 days of fishing, and the largest was only about 1/2-2 pounds. What I was really disappointed in, however, was the unbelievably rude and, quite honestly, sometimes downright unlawful actions of a lot of the non-fishing boaters(I didn't have even one issue with a bass boat) there. I spent a lot of time having ski boats buzz by me within a short casts distance. I even had a pontoon boat cut me off while I was on the trolling motor so close that I could have literally hit him with the skinny end of my flippin' stick. There weren't that many boats out there, but the ones that were were some of the most ignorant boat operators I've ever come across. Needless to say, I won't be going back there for vacation again.
i live two hours from there and been there three times in the last 20 years of bass fishing if that tells you anything, our club has a two day club tourney there every year and can't understand why i don't fish it. its for that very reason i'll never go back
