Lake Mayo 1-7-07

Fished Sunday with a buddy, and plus had another buddy in another boat.

My buddy in the other boat caught 12 with 8 to 10 keepers and we had 9 with 7 keepers. All where caught fishing real slow with crankbaits. Supending ones with a long pause. Most fish would hit on the pause. Shad colors. Fishing the outside edge of the grass. Pretty good time. No pics this time but will try next week again and try to get some pics then....

thanks for the report, been planning on going soon. how deep were you guys fishing?

We would sit out in 16 to 22 feet of water and cast back to the grass line and bring back the crankbait real slow with long pauses. The fish would hit on the pause everytime. Knock the slack out our line. It was a good time. I hope this helps.
