I have a tourney there soon
We went sunday 7/23 and caught them on main lake points and humps, using c-rig and throwing small plastic's. I don't know why but the bigger worms just haven't produced this year.We fished 8 to 12 foot fishing a zoom road kill in grn/pumpkin and dyed claws chartreuse. Good luck and tell us how you do in the tourney. Butch
I dont know about not hitting big worms though... that big fish I caught in early July was on a 10" pumpkin worm.
By the way tournament we had went well. All the big fish that day were caught on crankbaits. The weather was rough that friday night with some rain and was cloudy until the last hour. The fish had spread out quite a bit.
OH and I caught my first stripper. YAY That was a blast an entire cove had errupted with some boiling water and a bunch of dead shad everywhere.
