We fished from 7 - 3:30 weigh in.

I marked the water temps at 56 when we staretd and by weigh-in they hit 61 where I was at.

Clark Dingman won with 16 (+), no real kickers, but just a solid bag of clones

Our Club President & TD Jim Moore took 2nd with 15 (+)

Dwayne Kelly took 3rd with a bag that weighed 14(+) and he also had the lunker with a very nice 5.11 LMB

Dwayne reports taking his lunker on a Senko and 1st & 2nd place used jig & pigs in 18-24 ft in the main lake.

I managed just 10.65 for the 5 best of my 17 fish that day. I hit fish on the SWL spinnerbait, t-rigged Chigger Craws & tubes, crankbaits, and drop shot beavers.

I caught fish all day long, but I just couldn't find a good kicker to put me in the running. When I particed two weeks before the event I had my time set up for a milk run of about 20-25 spots and I knew I'd hit a couple of those three or four times during the day, but when it came time to launch I had trim problems and I almost ended up as a no-boater.

Thanks to Jim Moore because he recongized the problem, knew which trim modual to unplug so that I'd at least be able to pre-set my motor trim by using just the trim switch on the big motor.

I had no helm/console or bow panel trim switches, but hey brother I was fishing and that's what counts.

It didn't allow me to comfortably run the milk run like I had planned, but it was good enough to get me on the water and allowed me to hit at least 6 out of the 20 or so areas I wanted to fish that day.

I tell you its those incidents and situations that make you glad you fish with a great bunch of guys that look out for each other. Thanks again Jim, I know I'd have been a no-boater without your help.

Matter of fact p.m. me with your mailing address, I''m positive I have some Lucky Craft product with your name on it.

We had a fun event and that's what its all about.

This was my last event for the 2008 season

Thanks for Reading
