First of the year!

Hit up a 4 acre pond 2 houses down from me. Ice went out 11 days ago, today was the second time i fished it this year, first time was 2 days after ice out. Caught 7 of them today in about an hour, all dinks, 3/4 to 1 1/4 pound but better then nothing. Included a picture for proof.

I sure was happy when I felt that first whack! It shouldn't be long till the rest of the state clears out and everyone is catching them. I am planning on getting the boat out on Saturday, just not sure where.
