nhbass and partner grab a tournament victory

USA Bassin TX at Milton 3 Ponds today. nhbass and partner (Jim R) squeeked out a victory today with a 5 fish limit of largies totaling 15.82 lbs. Also grabbed lunker with a 4.44 largie. 2nd place was Mike Vining and partner with 15.74 lbs. I believe this was payback for Mike's 1 oz victory over the boys at Wentworth last August! Good day for nhbass as it will bankroll a few more tournaments. He also placed first yesterday in a NH Jr Bassmasters Tournament at Winni to start the weekend off right.
Most fish caught super shallow in weeds with Cabelas frogs. One caught on a Rockly Ledge Speed Demon Spinnerbait over rocks when the wind kicked up. Good day at the lake...lost 3 fish that were bigger than anything we weighhed...but no complaints!

No danger of that...beatings applied daily even if they just verbal! Besides, he didn't even think we could win. He just watched the other guys roll in to the launch and said, "oh, there is so and so, he's good" or "here comes Jand J (fake names of course), they always win"...I told him that he was good and that we could win or I wouldn't even be here. I just stayed on him all day to concentrate and work hard and just fish...and he did. He's 16, ya know what I mean?
