Had a T down in Mass today. We fished a very urban river system. The fishing can be good at times, but this wasn't one of those times. This place needs two things to be good. The water needs to be up and the current needs to be moving. We arrived early this morning to find the water level down and not a bit of current. After eight tough hours I finished up with two fish, one just over four and another just under three, and believe it or not, it was just enough to win. The guy that came in second had the lunker with one almost 5 lbs but I ended up beating him overall by two ounces. I got my big one on a jig deep in a laydown. It was a hard day but it beats working.
