    Last time out?

NHbass and I hit the local lake yesterday. While he huddled in his seat shivering (mixed with some whining) I worked my electronics while dangling a Silver Buddy knockoff in front of anything I saw. Stayed in 25-30 ft of water.
We lasted about 2 hrs and I was able to grab a 2 lb smallie, plus a few 3-4 inch perch. Guess I was in the right spot if I was catching them, just couldn't get more bass in the boat.
It was cold. Temps in 40's with a wind out of the WNW. Water temps 49-51, down a little from Wednesday. Hope it wasn't the last day! Looking for a warm day in November to sneak out!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of you guys. My dad took the boat away while I was on vacation, it's in storage now, my fishing season is done.

My buddy and I hit a small lake on last Thursday and only picked up 3 LM and probably a half dozen of those slippery guys. All 3 of the bass were shallow near shore caught right after noon. May have been the last time.

Got my muzzleloader out today and had my first time seeing deer while huntin...sadly they weren't bucks...

Did hit stores pond today for the first time ever. Gate was closed so we had to walk the boat in all the way. Didn't seem like the hike was worth it but a couple hours in landed a 5+(on scale) largie on a split shot rigged senko. Will put up pic when I get to computer.
Mac, I'm telling you, that finesse stuff works for me!
Got a month and a half left to put in some serious work.

    Cheers

It's been a while since I've been hunting but it use to be any deer during Muzzle season in NH.

Glad to hear you had a good day on the water. Do you know what the water temp was? I'm anxious to get on the water this week as well. Look forward to seeing the pic.

Got out on Massesecum last thursday! Got there at 1515 left at 1720. Five nice LM nothing under two pounds all in the river at the north end. For some reason they were loving a black and blue Rod jig! Biggest was just over four pounds. Water was 53 degrees and the river was flowing into the lake!

I'm pretty sure first day of muzzle was both buck and doe...but only buck on Monday.

Unfortunately, I didn't have my depth finder or a thermometer when we were at Storrs. If it helps, air temp was around 42 and water felt colder than the air. Pic below:

Nice Red X. you need to use shutterfly or someone to post pics. The link does work though.
