Had a club tourney at Anita lake in Iowa and what a day. I KILLED them yesterday in one of those days you never forget. Started out real slow with calm water which I hate. Decided to go to a rock pile and it was on. Started cranking and using a football jig just kept putting them in the boat with 17"'s, 18"'s, and a 19 1/2 incher. They would load up on that crank and then just kept getting bigger and would slam the crank. Went to another rock pile and caught a 19 3/4 that was very fat and thick that would have weight 6.5 on a scale. I was throwing back 17 1/2 inchers because they would not help. Had 19 lbs for 1st place with big bass and big boat pot. 2nd place had 14lbs. What a day! You don't have too many days when you kill them and everyone else struggles

Awesome Jim - congratulations!! 19.75" weighed 6.5 lbs - did you put her on a scale that is seriously fat for our neck of the woods.
