I was just told that my #2 cylinder has broken and I need a new powerhead, where is the best place to get a rebuilt powerhead?

don't know where to get a powerhead over there, but make sure who ever does the work knows what they are doing and finds out why it went bad!
I would probably try looking for one on ebay, bassfishinghomepage.com, here, or if all else fails, call a dealer and see what they can do for you.
I saw the motor today for myself and it has a small crack on the top of the piston and a chip inside the cylinder right at the exhaust port. The shop doesn't know why this happened but they want to replace the fuel injector just in case, does this make any sense? Could I just have this cylinder/piston rebuilt or do I have to have a remanufactored powerhead?
Thanks
Sounds as if you lost the pin in the piston and the ring grove turned into the exhaust port. It is caused by heat and happens more often to the #2 piston. depending on the damage they may be able to sleeve that cylinder. The injector should be tested if you are going to rebuild or put a rebuilt block on it. DFI technologies can test and repair it if needed.

Try http://www.hinklemarine.com they may have a head for you.
ChampioNman,
Do you know the approximate labor hours it would be to replace a powerhead?
The shop ordered me a rebuilt powerhead and is going to put on a new fuel injector, and replace water pump, is there anything else that they should be checking?
Just make sure they set the motor to break in mode. I think BRP pays XX hours I can't say.
