I,m in![]()
I,m thinking of fishing the Kings on Thursday.
Good plan. Let me know how it goes. Paul and I are planning on going to Shell Knob on Wednesday.
Are you guys putting in at the bridge? We fished the bluff bank across from the pizza hut and caught several last week. Most were in 30 foot and we were using drop shot with zoom water mellon candy. Good luck![]()

We'll probably put in at Big Bay and fish between Campbell Point and Baxter. Lots of big flats over there. Hope to find some Kentuckies, smallmouth, and white bass in the
40-60 ft range.![]()
Paul and I went to Shell Knob today. I caught several real nice fat kentuckies, Paul got
skunked. My first fish came around 10:00am on that same little yellow crankbait Andy painted for me that I caught 'em on last time. The rest of them were caught between 27 and 42 feet on a little white jiggin' spoon.

Went to the White river today very windy Managed to catch 7 spots one keeper. Lost my new hat broke my new sunglasses and broke my trolling motor. Had to jump my crank battery other than that another great day on the water.![]()
Every trip is and adventure of some kind. You never know what the day will bring.
Glad you made it back.
This was the water level in October 2010.

I'll talk to Andy......if its alright with him I'll send a complete picture of the crankbait.
I'll get back with you.![]()
You don't have to post the pic here, an IM will be fine!![]()
Here's a couple of pictures of that old crankbait we found last week on the bottom of
the lake. I'll let Andy fix it up and then show ya'll the difference.
Great, you found my DD22. Maritime law concerning salvage is not in effect.

I think I'm just gonna put some new trebles on this thing and fish it just like it is. It
cleaned up pretty good.
Nice great color I would like to learn how to paint a crank bait like that. Maybe that should be one of the things I should try and learn how to do this year.![]()
That is a stock norman color
Correct! That's why I stated I was just gonna put some hooks on it and fish it just like it
was rather than letting Andy repaint it.![]()
It was blistered pretty bad but it will be alright for a while. I'll wear the stock paint off of
it first, THEN I'll give it to Andy.
