A good morning on Table Rock

Went out for 2 hours this morning around Mill Creek. First cast got a 16 inch largemouth, then two dinks, and finally a nice 18 inch largemouth. All on a Texas rig in 5 feet of water.

Very nice! Surface temp? The Mill creek around Kimberling City?

Surface temp was 80 degrees. Yes, Mill Creek near Kimberling City. Is there another Mill Creek on Table Rock?

Up White around Shell Knob. Temps have certainly cooled off from the 90 degree surface temps of a month ago.

We caught several yesterday on the jiggin' spoon. I think I have a problem. I can't
make myself lay it down. You never know what you're gonna hook. We caught large and smallmouth bass, kentuckies, crappie and other pan fish. 40+ feet deep.

Bro, it's addicting. I know a way to increase the hook/landing ratio.....

Not to hijack the thread, but what kind/size of spoon do you use? Never had much luck with one.

3/4 oz. is my "go to" size. Usually white is my best color. Sometimes I drop other colors. The key is finding a good school of fish on your electronics first. Gettin' bit
    is easy.

I'll use the cheap spoons too , but you gotta have a good hook on it. Gamakatsu's are the sharpest I've found. If they breathe on that sucker, they're stuck!!
