Shoot.....I just now saw your post. I don't have to be in to work until 2:00 tomorrow

Well as it turns out the rods didn't make it to the deck, motor locked up between Shell Knob bridge and Campbell Point.

rebuild it, I may be able to help.

Just went out and looked at it a little more, I think it's just the lower unit. Put it in gear then jumped on the prop, after that the motor turned over and started. Maybe I got a little lucky.
