A guy I work with has a place down there, and gets down every week. He's had a place down there for 20 years, and is always on fish. I think he had a rough time the passed couple weekends.
I'm at the 6MM and had a tough go at it this last friday, Saturday but sunday night and monday we tore them up.........The water is REALLY clear down there right now and I guess it took us a couple of days to find them, I caught 2-5 pounder and 1 6-pounder off main points right on the bank, the rest of our fish came from a huge hump in the middle of the lake where it goes from 60 feet to 10 feet on a platue..............we prolly took 25 off that suker in 6 hours total fishing time...........10-12 of the fish being keepers, My brother only throws a 7" worm and ALL weekend he had a tough go at it.............they seem to want the big meat......
Texas rigged 10" berkley Power worm "pumpkinseed" which they dont make anymore and I'm stressing trying to figure out what I'm going to use next..........
Good info T-bone! Nice to hear you had a good end to the trip down there. Those are some serious results.

That's interesting about your brother having trouble with the 7" worm. Sounds like he shoulda switched to the biggun!

He didnt have any and I was willing to sell him some at 35 cents a piece..........
35 cents a piece is a bargain! I've had many days on the water I'd pay $10 for something that would work!
I hear that, I'm just glad to be on the water when I am...............Peaceful and quite.............
