    JP Colman Area

Going to be down there for a few days in a week or so any ideas, patterns, or areas to try?

Just want to get out and get a few fish while I'm at a rally any help would be great. I assume they will be pretty near spawn???

    Thanks

    Eli

i was sitting in about 14 foot but i didnt get any deeper than that, these fish where shallow but possibly the bigger bite may be a little bit deeper on the ledges not sure if these cold fronts is keeping them from spawning or if they are on beds yet

You can always try the back of Indian Creek in the grass, I always have good luck there.

There is a ton of grass back there. Once you get passed the camp ground the grass starts. You just can't see it, the stuff is usually under the water a couple of feet. There are a couple of creek channels back there and some points that always produce fish.

Of course if really want to flip some grass you can always try behind state line island, all the grass you want. Too much if you ask me....

Yeah, it really is too much grass behind the islands. Little patches of grass next to rocky areas seem to always have some fish. Well, It is pickwick, so not ALWAYS!!!
