strictly bass fishing? or maybe white perch, bluegill for the kids?

I bass fish , but my little girl is coming, and I am thinking whether to bring my boat or not?? If fishing is not that good usually, I won;t bring it, bu if fishing is usuall pretty good, I will bring it and try to catch bass somedays and bring the family perch and blugill fishing some too. I just don't know anything about the lake.
I willl probably catch and release everything, except maybe a few bluegill or perch to fry at the cabin.

fishing is pretty good during the summer months.. i have only been once for bluegill, but i hear perch fishing is pretty good also.. bass fishing is good in the mornings and at night..
