looking for a place to take the kids fishing this spring

I am looking for infor on crappy fish in the spring. Need someplace to go and infor on hotel ect. Thanks

Check out Grenada, MS. World class as far as size goes, but the fishing can be tough and the lake is kind of tough to navigate. Several chains are here as far as hotels and there's one cockroach type place close to the lake if you're on a budget. Also have good campgrounds run by the Corp if you have a camper.

In addition, Enid is only 30 miles north, and Sardis is 1.5 hours North. Then there's Lake Washington on the river which is about 60 miles away.

If you poke around on Crappie USA, I'll bet you'll find a lot of references to Grenada.
