fuel line bulb question

My 07 E-Tec 150 is cutting out at WOT. It will bog down and the take off, bog down and then take off. The difference is about 300 RPM. I thought maybe it was the fuel bulb, but it seems fine. I took the couling off this evening and found that the sensor that goes into the air dam had fallen out. I assume it is some sort of oxygen sensor. Would that cause this behavior?

I'd take it to my local dealer for a check out. Let them put the computer on it and verify any issues.
