Got my butt handed to me by my next door neighbor that I taught how to fish 10 years ago... Mike "Stiz" kicked my butt.

nice smally eh!were where ya fishin goin up this week thurs-sat.are they still in lake good or river?last year we went in august caught most in river.any tips this time of year. we go up once a year in summer a little earlier this year just dont know were to look this will be a month earlier than usual for us.

Well... We had to work for them. I would not say we were on any type of pattern. We caught most of the fish out in the lake in 10-13 ft of water on gulp swim baits in a greenish gold color. Sassy shad type on a 1/4 oz ballhead. I think the bait was around 3 in... I would have liked a lil' bigger one myself. We were between the 9 mile tower and blue and purple seawall out 2-3 miles.
