vacation planning help

I could use a little vacation planning help. Some time in April, maybe May, I'm taking my two weeks and going fishing.
The plan is to head down to Dale Hollow and/or Kentucky Lake for smallies and largemouth. I'm like to hit the area around spawn time, when ever that is exactly, and would appreciate any info you could give on ramps, no-resident licenses, safe for the boat lodging, food, best times to be down there, maybe even a good guide for a day or two and anything else you could offer.

Try posting this in the Ky/In forum. For dale hollow there are some guys full of info at http://www.smalljaw.com You can buy your licenses on the Kentucky fish and wildlife website. April is great for smallies on dale hollow and largemouth on Ky/barkley lakes
