River is running as they continue to draw down. The water level is still 3-4 ft high which is great for most areas. Water is stained.

If you can find clear water, or breaks/mudlines you can find bass. On Wed. & Thurs my son and I caught and released about 40 largemouth. Around 33 of them were 14+ - the largest went about 5lb. We fished north of Savanna. The air temp was 88+ both days. The bite was on at 6am and did not stop or slow down until noon ... We fished an area that had a couple of laydowns close to the bank and the wind was blowing into it, it had some nice shade, and a small grass bed ... on an otherwise simple looking point.

We threw mostly worms but still got fish a small crankbaits.
