Coffeen Lake, Coffeen, IL. Fished both N and S sides

4:30 - 10:30 am

Water: 94 degrees

Clarity: 5-6 feet. Easily the clearest I've ever seen at this lake

Wind: From S at 0-5 mph

Fishing: Sucked. Caught a dozen fish, but they were all short. Most came on the weed lines with a black tandem spinner. Didn't hook a single keeper all day, and I fished all over the lake. Shallow, deep, fast, slow, nothin'. Guess the big boys were asleep. Still better than going to work, though!
