    XD-50 or XD-100

Is it a big deal to run XD-100 in my 01 200 HP Ficht? What are the benefits compared to the XD-50?

It's all I run in my 03 DI. The Fichts, DI's, and the ETECs benefit greatly from this oil, as it will actually clean your engine as you run it. Some even run it in their carb engines as they like the way it cleans the engine and less smoke. It's the best out there for the FFI's JMHO The XD-50 is a good oil and has CARB-X in it, but being a blend, It's recommended to decarb once a year or every 100 hours, with the 100 you don't need to decarb, unless it's never been done.

+1 on not having to de-carb.

OH,,, OH,,, PICK ME PICK ME !!!!!

    I have a 175 2001 ficht

On recommendations from the gurus here, I switched last season from 50 to 100.
What a difference !!!!! Runs smoother, runs cleaner (no puff after long periods of trolling). I can troll for hours and it runs as smooth as can be. It used to start to run rough with the 50. And I know its keeper the powerhead cleaner and well lubed.

All I have is good things to say about switching. More expensive, but well worth it.
I get in online so it doesn't hurt as bad as going to the dealer....

    GO FOR IT....

I run a 2004 DI 225 HO and I have been very pleased with the XD-100. I buy it at http://www.domo-online.com. Seems to have the best prices online. When I havent planned properly it runs me about 46 a gallon in the local area. I dont think you will regret making the change.

I have a 98 Johnson 150. Which oil do you guys recommend? I have used Pennzoil, Johnson XD-30 Wal-Mart's SuperTech, and I have only noted minimal difference in smoking and idle. I was told by several guys to use any oil that had TCW-3 on the jug....opinions please!!!

Best price I could find online. I have purchased oil from them recently. Quick shipper.
