i am fishing in the tyson tourney on bull shoals this weekend, anyone been there this week and know how the fishing is. i will be pre fishing friday, thinking of going to the thedosia arm. also are the fish spawning yet? i have only fished bull shoals once last year, i did terrible. could use all the help i can get.
IM sent to you.............I was there in our club tx and fishing is awsome !!. Fish are on banks, mostly males with very few females. Females are still staging in 4 to 6 ft of water and not in back of pockets yet, but getting closer. Next two weeks on bull will be like taking candy from a baby.................wish I was still there fishing............Roger

Is this a open tourn. If so how much is the entry and where and when does this take off out of?
no, it is not open. you have to be affiliated with tyson, or fish with someone who is. my brother is a biologist for tyson. if you can find you someone who works for tyson bring it on. it is $80 per boat, there is usually around 350 boats.
I dont know anyone who works for them so i will let in i fished yesterday and had 14 keepers prabaly around 17 to 18LBS. go between dianand city and peel get up on the bank and pull them off their beds their were locked on yesterday it was like taking candy from a baby their were hundreds of fish locked on.Water clarity is about 18 to 25 ft.Good Luck.
i sure appreciate that piece of advice, was it the smallies on the bed or largemouth.
Largemouth an spots didnt see any smallies i think you need to back out in about 20 ft. to catch them

THEIR SHOULD BE ALOT OF FISH ON BEDS AROUND THE DAM TO BUT I NORMALLY DONT FISH THAT AREA THE WATER WILL BE MUCH MORE CLEAR UP THAT WAY GOOD LUCK AND SAVE ME SOME TO CATCH
Well how bad did you killem?
well friday, i couldn't get my lure in the water fast enough. caught around 20 pounds, about 13 over 15 inches. but..........saturday, i couldnt buy a decent bite. i fished the same spots the same style, nothing but 14 inchers biting. the wind kicked up quite a bit i was unable to bed fish. caught nothing but kentuckies and largemouth friday, and nothing but smallies saturday.
