First use light line since the water is clear. I use8 lbs for spinning reels and 10 on my bait caster. I throw lots of soft plastic. Learn to read the lay of the land look for breaks and drop offs. Since the corp took all the tree the break are a big deal to the fish. Hope that helps and good luck abe1

yes all the time. I just got off the water and the bass are moving up. I found one that was on a bed. I also found lots and I mean lots of fish in the back of coves chasing shad. These fish are small but the big ones are going to follow very soon. The water was 62.9 at 6.30am and was 66 by 12 pm. I have also caught 70 hybrid in the last 9 days all in 4 to 7 lbs range. Fish is hot right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy Abe1

    Hey Abe,

Thats great glad to hear the fishing is getting hot, I will be down in another two weeks, you'll have to come down and hop in for a day. I cant wait to start catching those bass. Have you ever did any good with a shaky head worm rig, I wanted to try this when they start getting on beds, or maybe for some smallmouth.

Thanks again for the report, it is very helpfull.
